Motion controllers from DIVIZE are used as interface between a PLC and a stepper motor driver. The motion controller has digital inputs which are used to receive commands from the PLC. The motion controller will create motion profiles in order to control the stepper motor. The in and output signals to/from the PLC are opto isolated.
De motion controller can receive start and stop commands from the PLC, also the direction is selectable with a digital input. The speed can be set with a potentiometer on the motion controller.
Several versions of the motion controller are available, some versions are capable of generating complete motion profiles by a single input from a PLC, positions are monitored with proximity switches, the results are indicated to the PLC by the digital outputs.
These motion controllers are also available with a teach in function, the required profile can be set manually, the stepper motor can repeat the profile with a single command from the PLC.
The motion controller is suitable for DIN rail mounting.
